Introduction

As I stated in my home page, my name is Diane and I work as a photographer. I am also a Christian and I do see the wonders of God’s beauty in the photos I take.

In my past years I was employed as a health care worker in a very prestigious responsible position and during these years I have always had an interest and passion for photography as a hobby as well. Now retired I wish to advance my passion of photography into career opportunities that I desire to pursue. I have studied photography courses at Southern New Hampshire University and I also collect and study my own personal books which I have acquired through the years. I do enjoy experimenting with different types of lenses and other photographic equipment.

I am presently employed at Brown University working in retail and photographing models and individual merchandise products for their website at their bookstore and events such as sport activities, or author events. In my college years I performed as a photographer on the yearbook staff, in sport photography for the frisbee league and my photos were utilized by the recruiting office for pamphlets and posters.  I also volunteer taking photos at my church when we have concerts and other gatherings as well. When am not taking pictures as part of my employment or volunteer work, I enjoy shooting landscapes and nature during my travels when I visit zoos, aquariums, historical sights and grand outdoor environments nationally and internationally.

I created this website for two reasons. The first reason is to market myself as a photographer for events, portraits or other requests. I would be willing work on any site you would require me to. The second reason I created this website is not only to share my skills but also to share with you memorable times and places which I have seen and experienced through my camera lenses. I wish to not only display the pictures but also share with you my feelings and thoughts I had when I took the shots and the background of different places I have traveled so you can also be involved in all I have encountered as well.
